I have had a whole bowl of almonds in the shell on a coffee table for a while so today I decided to make almond butter. I roast the nuts for 10 minutes at 400 degrees. I then used 2 damp towels to take come of the skins off. I next placed the nuts in the food processor and processed until my desired consistency and then I added a touch of salt, some local honey and a bit of vegetable oil. The butter was really great.
