Beef Brisket



6-8lb. beef brisket
4-5 carrots, cut up
4-5 celery ribs, cut up
4-5 potatoes, cut up
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 can cola( not diet)
2T brown sugar
6T ketchup
salt and pepper
Place meat into a 9X13" pan. Season meat with salt ands pepper. In a glass measuring cup: mix cola, ketchup, brown sugar and onion soup mix. Pour over the brisket. Arrange vegetables around the meat. Cover with foil and cook at 350 degrees F for 3 hour. Take meat out of oven and slice with the grain of the meat. Place bake in oven and cook for 1 hour sealed.
