In a 1 quart canning jar, layer: 1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/2 C peanut butter chips, 3/4 C packed light brown sugar, 2 C all purpose flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 3/4 C granulated sugar. Seal jar and cover with fabric. Attach a label to the jar with raffia. Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Beat 1/2 C butter, with mixer until smooth. Beat in 2 eggs, one at a time. beat in 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat in 1 C chunky peanut butter, until smooth. Pour in jar of cookie mix, mix well. Shape dough into 2" balls and place 2" apart on prepared cookie sheets.Bake 12 minutes or until firm. Do not over bake. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
